What is Children’s Day?
Every year Children’s Day is celebrated on the 14th of November across India to raise awareness of the rights, care, and education of children. It is celebrated on the birth anniversary of India’s first Prime Minister who was fondly called “Chacha Nehru’’. Nehru believed that today’s children make the country’s future and advocated for them to get a full education. On this day, schools and colleges host many events and competitions to celebrate children. It is a fun-filled day for children, parents, and teachers.
