What is Farmer’s Day?
Farmer’s Day is the annual observance of contributions by the farmers and the agriculture sector toward society. It is also the birth anniversary of India's 5th Prime Minister, Choudhary Charan Singh.
Our farmers are the ones who toil day and night to make sure that the nation has enough food to survive but unfortunately, some of them struggle for 2 square meals a day. To promote their contributions and create awareness about the problems that they face, Farmer’s Day is celebrated across the country.
