What is UAE National Day?
It is celebrated on December 2nd each year in the United Arab Emirates. The seventh state, Ras Al Khaimah was the last state to join the federation on February 10th, 1972. It is also known as Yaum al Watani in Arabic. The day is marked with fireworks, car rallies and dance shows all across. People dress up in the colors of the national flag. Decorations are put up all across UAE; we see malls, hotels, public places, and even palm trees doused in lights from the colours of the national flag.
