You can initiate Instagram DMs to people who write a comment on your Instagram posts or ads from DelightChat.
If you’re already on a comment thread where you need to DM someone, skip to step 3.
Here’s how:
1. From the left panel, select the Instagram Comments support channel that you’ve integrated with DelightChat (integrate Instagram with DelightChat).
2. Now, choose the conversation thread where you want to DM a person and click on the 3 dots beside the comment card to see the DM option.
3. The Instagram Comments API allows two actions.
a) You can initiate a IG DM from the Comment.
b) You can delete the comment, which would also delete it from the Instagram post.
4. Click [Message] and enter your message in the pop-up box to send a DM to the person
5. Hit [Send] and you’ll see a Success message at the top of your screen
You can also automate this process by setting up Instagram Comment to DM automation in the DelightChat app.
