How to Setup the Welcome Popup?
The Welcome Popup feature is very easy to set up. Before you can get started, make sure you already have WhatsApp API activated and your Shopify store connected to DelightChat.
Step 1: Navigate to WhatsApp Marketing > Welcome Popup
Step 2: Basic Popup Setup
On this page, you can configure the various settings related to the Welcome Popup.
We already set up some defaults for you. You can enable the (PREVIEW) and click on the link to see how the popup looks, before you make it (LIVE) on your store for all your store visitors.
The key settings include
- Title Text
- Subtitle Text
- CTA Button Text
Optional: Add an image to the popup widget. Just upload the image to your Shopify > Files section and paste the link here.
Step 3: Thank You Page Setup (Optional)
Optionally, you can also configure custom Thank you Page to be shown to customers who fill the phone number field in the Welcome Popup. Simply toggle the option to enable the Thank You Page.
Advanced Settings allows you to configure various display parameters. The default settings should suffice for most stores.
Once you are done, click on Save.
Your website is now ready capture more visitors into leads!
Where can I see the Collected Numbers from the Welcome Popup?
Switch tabs by clicking on Collected Numbers.
On this screen, you can see the total numbers collected in a given (date range).
You can also download a CSV of all the phone numbers collected by the popup, which you can then use for sending promotional WhatsApp broadcasts.
